Almost Done

I’m really excited now.  I have my coldfusion site working.  It is only 3 pages, but it is a good example of what can be done.  First off, there is the home page has the current standings and a glimpse of the upcoming schedule.  Then there is a league page which shows the league leaders in batting average, home runs, RBIs, ERA, wins, and strikeouts.  Finally, there is the teams page.  Each team is shown in a block with their team colors and logo, along with their record.

The best feature of this site is the admin section.  This is a password protected section where you can update players and games.  You can add players, change their name and what positions they play.  For the games, you can change the stats for each game.  These admin pages are set up as if the league administrator is logged in.  If a team  administrator is logged in, it would only allow them to make changes to their team.

If you would like to check it out, it is at weller.cfmldeveloper.com.  To get to the login page, click on the Admin link.  Use admin as the username and tblpw as the password.  Feel free to make changes to anything you like.  Every change you make will be reflected in the home page, league page, and teams page.  I will be resetting the database from time to time.

Thanks for stopping by!
