Building a Portfolio

It has been a number of years since I have taken on any projects, so my portfolio is currently empty.  To fix this, I am currently designing a project that could be used by a sports league.  It will have a few pages showing some information about the league and the teams in the league.  It will also have an Admin section that will allow a user to update the information.  These updates will be reflected in the main league pages.  Once the user logs out, or the session times out, the database will be reset.

I will be making 4 versions of this site.  One will be HTML5, which is the base for all of the other sites.  There will be no Admin section for this, as HTML is not capable of accessing a database by itself.  The next site will be written in ColdFusion.  After that, I will be writing one in PHP and one in Ruby.

The HTML site looks good so far.  I’m working on the last few pages of the ColdFusion which will help me populate the database.  Once that is done, I’ll change the numbers on the HTML site to match the starting numbers on the dynamic sites.

Thanks for looking in!
